The Blueprint Plan for the Creative Industries

The Blueprint Plan for the Creative Industries, adopted by the Standing Committee of the Ile-de-France Regional Council, is the first project to take into account all the components of the creative professions. Eight professional federations, including Ateliers d’Art de France, contributed to the development of this ambitious plan.

It is aimed at artists and craftsworkers in Ile-de-France, who are offered personalised advice at the workshop by an expert, who helps them to match needs to their strategy.
This is supplemented by joint meetings with creators or company managers from the other sectors involved.

Each module leads to practical activities aimed at improving the performance of the company and/or creator and helping them to continue their work in the longer term. The programme covers all companies in Ile-de-France which are members of the federations involved in the project, from young creators just starting out to established companies, whatever their status.

The plan is organised in accordance with specific themes such as:
– internet selling and the related legal issues;
– finding sources of funding;
– supporting sustainable development;
– showcasing products at trade fairs and making them more coherent and attractive.

Each programme (combining personalised advice with joint sessions between creators) lasts between six and eight months, with an average of one to two days per month, depending on the module. EUR 4 million will be spent on the programme, 80% of which will be funded by the state and regional authorities, and the remaining 20% by the federations or training insurance funds. It will run for a renewable three-year period.
